How Much Can It All Cost?

Investigative Services – Pricing and Working Format

We fully understand clients who, when starting work on a particular case, would like to have a clear picture in advance: how much it will cost, what the action plan is, and what kind of budget needs to be allocated. This is an absolutely logical and reasonable desire.

However, the reality of working in the field of investigations (private detective work) and security dictates its own rules.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of projects in the field of private investigations / security cannot be precisely priced at the very start.

When you begin, for example, a search for a person, it is impossible to predict in advance how much time, effort, and resources it will require. The person may be found very quickly. Or the search may drag on: they may be hiding, using false data, located in another jurisdiction, actively avoiding detection — covering their tracks. This is especially true for cases involving fraudsters.

That is precisely why our company’s position is always honest and straightforward: we cannot predict the final cost of the project in advance.

And that’s exactly why we work using a deposit-based format.

What Is the Deposit Format?

After the consultation — if both parties, you and us, agree that we are ready to work together as a team — we develop a specific action plan.

The plan is divided into clear, understandable, and tangible stages. Each stage can be evaluated and approved separately.

The deposit (also known as an advance payment) is the amount the client provides to the company for executing the very plan they have reviewed and approved.

  • Build the work transparently and step by step
  • Control your budget
  • Make decisions on each next stage based on achieved results

How Does the Deposit Scheme Work?

To begin with, the plan is developed together with the client. Or, if the client prefers not to take part in the development, they may delegate this to us — and simply confirm the plan if it matches their expectations.

From there, the work is carried out in stages, and each stage includes specific activities that are agreed upon in advance. After the plan is approved, the client provides a deposit — a sum intended to fund the execution of that exact plan.

Within that deposit, we carry out all agreed activities: initial review, search, analysis, information gathering, surveillance, etc.

If everything goes well — the person is found, the information is gathered, the objective is achieved, or another previously agreed success criterion is reached — then the project is completed and the contract is closed.

If the goal was not reached at this stage, the client receives a detailed report of the work completed. To continue the project, the deposit is then replenisheduntil the client decides to pause further activity or where continuation is no longer essential or requested.

This Approach Is Convenient for Everyone:

  • For the client: No need to approve budgets every time, no distractions for minor issues.
  • For us: It allows us to allocate resources efficiently, plan actions, and manage the team’s work in advance.

This Is How Our Pricing Policy Is Built:

  • Everything is transparent and clear
  • Each activity is agreed upon in advance
  • Every action leads to a documented deduction from the deposit
  • New steps are only taken after confirmation

This model has been tested by experience and time and has proven highly effective. We simply call it the deposit-based payment system.

This is by no means something new — it is the same system used by almost all legal firms and professionals in related fields.
